FINSIHES

Natural

No stain, just a gunstock oil finish to most accentuate the pine grain

Stained

Stain applied prior to oil finish.  Available in shades of black, red, and brown. Colors vary and are fully customizable at the discretion of the customer. Black is shown.

Charred

Charred using the “shou sugi ban” technique and finished with gunstock oil. No stain is used in this technique.

Binding

Binding and purfling come in a wide variety of choices and combinations. Plastic and wood binding are available in addition to wood and pearl purfling

Unfigured

Traditional choice for telecaster necks.

Curly Maple

Available in 2A, 4A, and Exhibition grades.

Birdseye Maple

Available in 2A, 4A, and Exhibition grades.

ROASTING

Unroasted

Traditional choice allows for staining in a range of browns and yellows

Light Roasted

Done with a process called torrefaction in which the wood is cooked in a special oven to darken it and change the composition of the wood.

Medium/Dark Roasted

A heavier roast with a darker color.

PICKGUARDS

No Pickguard

BRIDGES

Vintage Joe Barden

A traditional bridge with 3 brass barrels for saddles. This is the standard Damcaster option.

Mastery Tele Bridge

The Cadillac of bridges.  Can be used alone or with a Bigsby or Mastery Vibrato.

Modern

Eschewing the vintage style this bridge gives a different look with individual barrel saddles.

TUNING MACHINES

String in Tuners

These standard tuning gears are nickel and have a clean look.

Locking Tuners

Best suited for models with tremolos and vibratos, these gears lock the strings in place to keep strings in tune.

String Through Tuners

These are the traditional choice for telecasters and other electrics.

2 Single Coils

Traditional tele configuration.  Standard Mullinax Villains may be swapped for others if requested.

Humbuckers

The upgraded HH design features a different bridge to accomodate the two humbucking pickups instead of the traditional single coils.

Humbucker/Single

This style features a humbucking neck pickup and the traditional bridge and single coil bridge pickup.

CUSTOM INLAYS

Fret Dots

The traditional choice, these dots can be slightly customized to fit the customers needs and are made out of the Eagle & Phenix dam wood.

12th Fret

A customized inlay across the 12th fret

Multi-fret Designs

A custom inlay that crosses several frets and can be positioned at the customer’s discretion.
